Who We Are:
EORO was founded in 1998 as an arts advocacy organization, leveraging theater-based strategies to effectively break the cycle of violence and incarceration that entraps so many low-income youth, especially young men of color. Since then, EORO has been a leader in challenging the pipelines to prison for under-resourced, marginalized youth. We bring one-on-one, mentor-based arts education and academic tutoring, gender specific health and life-skills courses, and a supported pathway from detention to college to our communities highest-risk youth engaged with the juvenile justice system.
