Healthy Choices Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Life-Skills
Program for Girls is a health education and life skills program young women. Healthy Choices was created with the
input from and in collaboration with Mental Health counselors. Healthy Choices offers young women the opportunity to learn how to
take advantage of existing community-based opportunities, and to avoid the
pitfalls of ongoing poor personal choices. This program teaches youth to learn
from their past mistakes, and make the appropriate decisions that initiate
their plan to move forward to meet their personal education and vocational
goals. Youth participants learn that by meeting these strategic goals, they
establish the groundwork to meet other personal goals and create a life based
on healthy choices. If you are interested in bringing Healthy Choices to your facility or community school, please contact Harold Atkins at harold@eoro.org or 650-225-9030. |
