Our volunteer
actors can build their professional portfolios while bringing
our young writers stories to life!
Our other volunteers can contribute their skills
to sustain our programs. |

Populations we serve: Youth
of high school age in the Juvenile Justice System or at risk
of becoming involved in the system.
Places we work: Programs run in juvenile halls and
continuation and alternative high schools in San Mateo and
San Francisco counties. |
For Professional Actors:
Each One Reach One (EORO) seeks actors who donate their talents
and hearts to bring our young writers plays to life! If
youre a professional actor, heres a way for you
to help these young men and women and have a voice in their
community. Performers rehearse the young writers plays
(with the young writers in attendance), share dinner with them
and their mentors, perform the staged readings before an invited
audience of family, peers, facility staff and the general public
and join the celebration following the performance. |
| Youll discover that these young writers
have talent, and that their stories define these young people
from a very different perspective than that portrayed in the
media. Your performance provides recognition that what they
say is important and is often the first time they experience
public success. |
|
| Hours: Performers commit to a half-day
for each program on the last day of the two-week session, typically
a Friday from 4pm to 9pm.Our calendar
shows our next scheduled program.Want to volunteer? Tell
