Each One Reach One (EORO) has both paid and volunteer positions.
We pay mentors, who work daily during our two-week programs
(35-hour commitment), and we ask professional actors to volunteer
in performing our young writers plays (a half-day commitment).
In addition we seek volunteers to help EORO design its show
programs, raise funds, plan events, provide office support and
maintain its website. |
| Populations we serve: Youth of high school age in the
Juvenile Justice System or at risk of becoming involved. |
Places we work: Programs run in juvenile halls and
continuation and alternative high schools in San Mateo and San
Francisco counties. Our office is in South San Francisco. Some volunteer
opportunities can be filled from your home.

Our playwriting mentors are professional
playwrights and actors. They undergo screening (required
by state law) and receive orientations. Read more about
these job opportunities
in the mentor section.
-
Our volunteer actors can build
their professional portfolios while bringing our young
writers stories to life! Read more about performing
with us in the volunteer section.
-
Our academic tutoring mentors. This
is great opportunity to help a young person improve
their academic skills, lifeskills and gain confidence
in themselves. Please visit our ADAPT
program site for more information.
-
Our other volunteers sustain
our programs to mentor our youth through theater arts.
