One of the fundamental aims of leading the young writers through the workshop process is to increase their comfort level in sharing ideas and feelings. The collection of plays which follow all deal with the expression of conflict resolution through metaphor. The use of metaphor is a powerful means of allowing the students to open up and to incorporate their own opinions and reflections into their works.
